Why did they speed up the fights back in the 90s?

A big shout out to Chung Fat (Army shirt guy) and Dick Wei (guy in black) for playing such kick ass bad guys. While Chung Fat has been a longtime collaborator with Jackie Chan and Sammo Hung, fans of Hong Kong cinema would recognise Dick Wei as Lor Sam Pau, the pirate king from Project A.

this is one of the things i didn't like in hk films, cynthia was a pro but can't do flips, even rolling on the floor is stunt doubles, stunt doubles aren't just obvious but here they don't even use wigs here, blonde girl then has black hair in flips lol, even in magic crystal the 80s hk movie the white guy (richard norton) was a chinese guy in blonde wig
